The steering felt mushy and it was running rough. Also, the A/C compressor went off and was blowing just fan air. Not sure if those items are related though.The lamp glows for 2 reasons. 1: System fault ( take it to JEEP) 2: driving wrong, wild driving. skidding etc. read the manual, it even show how to drive offroad with ESP turned off. go to a local garage that specilizes in electric repair and get a better quote. Most likely a faulty body control module is your problem. 6 helpful..
