Background - 2016 LML 6.6. Duramax with 58,000 miles -- all stock. first owner/only owner. Story/Issue =. Went to crank my truck in the morning before work, as I always do. It started, as I'm walking away, I hear it shut off... Go back, try to crank the truck...it cranks, but doesn't start. It was 25 degrees out yesterday morning, friend ...disconnected the power cable to the intake heater and sprayed about 4 second shot of brake parts cleaner down the hole and tuned the key to crank and it fired up for about 3 seconds. primed the filter pump thing until it was hard again crank and no start. sprayed more parts cleaner and it fires for about 3 seconds. i do this process 6-8 more ...

Check the incoming voltage to the solenoid. Also have a buddy turn the key while checking the signal voltage and the output voltage from the solenoid. Changed the fuel filter next day started up. Switched it off wouldn't start again. Have tried priming while engaging starter still nothing.CANBUS VOLTAGE TEST. Connect voltmeter to pin 6 and ground (pin 4 or 5) neg lead. This is high side (2.5V-5V range) and should read ~2.7V. Connect voltmeter to pin 14 and ground (pin 4 or 5) neg lead. This is low side (0V-2.5) and should read ~2.3V, both added together = 5.0V. CANBUS SHORTED TO GROUND.
Remove the hose coming off the pressure regulator number 2 and plug it off on the return hose side. Put the other end into a container and crank the engine. Really shouldn't be any fuel coming out of it. If there's lots then there's ur issue. Was followed with a P0700 code. Loss of power, stuck in gear, hard shifts especially going Into reverse. Maybe there’s more left. I’m between 430-450psi in all cylinders as well, did a manual compression test after completing the rebuild.LB7 - No Fuel Pressure, No Start. I went out to start my truck and I noticed it took a little longer to start, so I kinda held my breath and hoped it would be fine. after 10 seconds it started to surge in idle and fell on its face and died. I went out to prime it and got it started.
Mine doesn’t crank or start when there’s no shift indicator light. I have to keep turning the key on and off for a few minutes until the indicator light comes on and then it starts up right away. No rhyme or reason about once every two weeks or so go out and turn key on seems normal but won't turn over.Tried to start the truck. the engine was a junkyard engine pulled from a running wrecked vehicle. pulled engine apart and injectors and cp3 looked to be new. I modified the wire harness and i did accidentally cut one wire but i fixed that. The problem is i will crank it and it will only build up 200psi in the rails. cranking rpm is 180ish.…

After installation of the turbo and injectors I allowed the lift pump to run and prime up to the injection pumps and cranked the truck what feels like 100 times still no start. I have fuel at the injectors and while cranking my fuel rail pressure is around 5,000psi.
