Background - 2016 LML 6.6. Duramax with 58,000 miles -- all stock. first owner/only owner. Story/Issue =. Went to crank my truck in the morning before work, as I always do. It started, as I'm walking away, I hear it shut off... Go back, try to crank the truck...it cranks, but doesn't start. It was 25 degrees out yesterday morning, friend ...disconnected the power cable to the intake heater and sprayed about 4 second shot of brake parts cleaner down the hole and tuned the key to crank and it fired up for about 3 seconds. primed the filter pump thing until it was hard again crank and no start. sprayed more parts cleaner and it fires for about 3 seconds. i do this process 6-8 more ...

Check the incoming voltage to the solenoid. Also have a buddy turn the key while checking the signal voltage and the output voltage from the solenoid. Remove the hose coming off the pressure regulator number 2 and plug it off on the return hose side. Put the other end into a container and crank the engine. Really shouldn't be any fuel coming out of it. If there's lots then there's ur issue. Was followed with a P0700 code. Loss of power, stuck in gear, hard shifts especially going Into reverse.
